Electronic music caught this Stockholm native in the late 90âs, and after feeling the energy in the Techno tent at the Fanclub festival in 1998 delivered by our Swedish DJ heroes the musical path was set.Not long after he heard DrumânâBass for the first time, and after a visit to the now legendary club dB in Mangoâs basement he knew he had found his music.
It didnât take long before he was thinking about taking matters into his own hands and start DJ-ing himself. It all happened in the beginning of 2001 and buying DânâB vinyl soon became an addiction. Later that year he made his first performance at an outdoor party in Upplands VĂ€sby a northern suburb of Stockholm, as well as the first of many gigs at the dirty venue KafĂ© 44 located in the south part of central Stockholm.
The end of 2002 saw the birth of Club Traffic which he started with his brother, and since then theyâve held Traffic parties at several different venues in Stockholm as well as in Gothenburg with International guests such as Noisia, Loxy, Dylan & Robyn Chaos, Klute, Upbeats, Ink, D Bridge amongst others. Systematic has showcased his DJ skills around Stockholm for years as well as visiting other parts of Sweden and Copenhagen, Vienna, Bratislava and Helsinki. The past few years Systematic has moved into the production side of things and in the future you will surely hear some of his productions.
Influenced by legendary sounds and techniques from artists such as Dj Krush, turntable masters Qbert and Craze along with a massive love for 80Žs digital reggae and punk created the urge to collect and also play this music for others. Collecting music on vinyl was only the beginning.
Moving back to Sweden in 99, after a four year stay in Chile he had made up his mind to learn the art of djing. During this time he had also come in contact with bass heavy styles like electro, breaks, jungle and drum and bass. Although starting out playing mostly hiphop and reggae at places like kaffe44 and festivals around Sweden he quickly devolped a love for the energy that drum and bass brought to the dancefloor. Incorperating scratch skills with dnb be sure the heavyvibe will be there.
Around 2003 he joined teams with Systematic and his brother Irk. Influenced by the dB crew in Sthlm,  a new era of dnb madness was born. Big sound, deep and dark bass set the mood for years to come.
During these years Limbz has played at countless venues accross Sweden and abroad and has had the fortune to open for his favorite all time dnb legends such as dBridge, Klute, Friction, Hype, Noisia just to name a few. Keep an eye for MrLimbz you never know what bombs heŽll drop on you!
Josefine Jinder is a 23-year-old Stockholm sweetheart who at young age moved to the UK and received a diploma in sound technology from the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (owned by Paul McCartney). It was there that Jinder started developing her sound, which is influenced by synth, IDM, disco and the rich musical history and environment of her native Sweden.
Jinder came to international attention with her first EP, Polyhedron, on Trouble & Bass in August 2008. Her second release, âYouth Blood,â debuted in March 2009 and became an instant hit with the club kids. It got a remix treatment twice over in December 2009, with low-end monsters from 12 Planet & Flinch and Bok Bok, plus house and techno rubs like Renaissance Man and huge Swedish names including Tony Senghore and Tomas Andersson.
Little Jinder follows up 2010âs massive teen anthem âYouth Bloodâ with another sweet and sinister single thatâs sure to get stuck in your head and eat at your soul. Produced by Trouble & Bass label head Drop the Lime this monster track features Josefine Jinderâs angelic vocals weaving in and out of a tapestry of dubstep and jungle-influenced flavors. Most sucessful remix of this one was Swedish drum & bass legend Seba, most famous for his releases on LTJ Bukemâs Good Looking Records) who delivered a lovely, emotional stepper with all the rolling snares, crisp hi hats, and truly massive bass and subs that you would expect from this liquid D&B don.
Jinder is releasing another massive bass-oriented tune early 2012 produced by 12th Planet & Flinch, are currently working on her debut album and keeps bringing her irresistible stage show to locations worldwide…. like this year smashing it at Coachella and Ultra Music Festival.
L-Wiz is a duo consisting of Claes Rosén and Ola NÀslund from NynÀshamn Sweden (Stockholm)
They started making dubstep early 2000 and around 2003 they got in contact with Caspa through the old forum dubplate.net.
2005, the year of the first release on dubpolice 001 ( Habibi, Egyptic, Girlfriend ) was a huge sucess.
After that the releases continued, not only on Dubpolice but out on different labels, such as :Â Baredubs, Destructive Recordings, Sonic Boom, Dub Thiefs and swedens first dubsteplabel Redvolume.
Main inlfuenses are Bob James, Warren Harris aka HANNA, Anti Social ent, Kromestar, Joker, Clouds, Coki and life itself.
L-Wiz are a part of the All Out Dubstep gang in Stockholm, that arranges clubnights and various dubstep events in Sweden.
With their roots stemming from two separate worlds, the collaboration
mightâve seemed farfetched at first. Nonetheless, it came like a fresh
breeze, sweeping across the Swedish music scene.
Trickykid had already built up a loyal Dubstep fan base, through years
of hard work and DJ skills possessed by few and had a product that
could reach a much broader audience.
Through RMHâs Thomas Gunnarsson, he met Eboi who had already began to
host different club events, both Hiphop and Electro/house music. Eboi
was eager to take his hosting to the next level and, perhaps, in a new
direction.
The fellas instantly hit the nail on the head. Trickykidâs
understanding of what the audience wanted and with his genuine
presence on the decks, combined with Eboiâs rhythmic verses and crowd
control, it didnât take much to realize â the package was set and
ready to be shipped out.
After numerous shows together, theyâve developed a product without
comparison and a product that has been missing in general on the music
scene.
Eboi has already dropped three Dubstep tracks as his contribution to
the Nike Sportswear mixtape. Together with Trickykid, more releases
and tours with their innovative product are being planned.
DJ ALX is one of the most sought after Dubstep DJs in Sweden and as a 2x Swedish DMC Champion and DMC World finalist itâs not hard to understand why. He transfers heâs skills as a world class turntablist to the dance floor, making heâs sets technical yet funky. Heâs main focus lies on Dubstep, altough he loves to throw in some DnB tracks in the mix aswell.
DJ ALX is also the founder of the GĂ€vle based club âGefle Dubâ, one of Swedens biggest arenas for bass heavy music.
Swedish producer Sebastian Ahrenberg has established a reputation as one of the finest purveyors of quality drum & bass over a distinguished career stretching back over 15 years. From his early tracks on LTJ Bukemâs groundâbreaking label Good Looking Records to his recent debut LP âReturn to Forever,â Seba’s music has retained a timeless appeal and brings together beats and bass in classic style. Ethereal atmospheres, crisp breaks and sublime bass rhythms are hallmarks of a sound he has made his own, with releases across the very best labels including Metalheadz, Soul:r, Hospital and his own Secret Operations. Seba’s sound is distinctive, finely balanced and powerful and his DJ sets represent this to the fullest. Keeping up the pressure in 2010, his next releases include remixes for Polar and Naibu plus singles due on Hospital, 31 Records and Secret Operations.
SLIN is one of the best known names in Estonian bass music. He started his journey of music back in 2004 when his good friend Quarah (Siege Kru) invited him to try spin records at his house. The first styles were drum & bass and ragga jungle. In 2007 Slin heard the first notes
of dubstep and that was the genre that inspired him enough to start making music himself. Three years later he landed a deal with Sumting
New which is owned by one of the biggest names in dubstep Cotti. In 2011 he signed to another known label, Dubstar. Slin has performed all
over in Estonia and in various cities abroad, for example Helsinki (Finland), Stockholm (Sweden), Malmö (Sweden), St Petersburg (Russia), Riga (Latvia), Copenhagen (Denmark), London (UK) and Leicester (UK). His bag is always full of unreleased material from the best known players and his sets crystal clear. He is the head ‘DUBSHACK’, the longest running dubstep event in Estonia and the founder of the former DUBSTEP.EE longside Siege Kru. This year he started his own imprint ‘Beaming Light Records’ with his good friend Abstract Detail, looking to show the talent of his country to the rest of the world and put out quality music of all styles. You can expect more and more of his own music in the future.

BellaBoo fell in love with music when she discovered club culture in the years around 2000. Taking the step from dancing to DJ-ing came naturally and she started playing as a professional DJ in the beginning of 2007.
Always loving bass in general the mixes quickly starte taking turn from house towards a more dubstep/garage-vibe, though she still can rely on all organic bass oriented music.
From 2010 she is a frequent DJ at âWe luv bassâ and âAll out dubstepâ, clubs dominating the bass-scene in Sweden.
Still digging the dub in dubstep, her melodic sound has brought her to national and international radio as well as clubs around Europe. Recently signed to the US-based radio station ESS-radio (iheartradio) and in Sweden to Sveriges Radio P3′s musikguiden sessions.
Having earnt a reputation as one of the sceneâs leading lyricists, 2011 is shaping up to be a great year for MC Fokus. Marking his studio debut, the track âStructureâ can be found on the âTransit Oneâ album from Dispatch Recordings. Written alongside production partner Skeptical, its deep, sinister bass and distinctive vocals have seen âStructureâ gain support from both DJs and audiences worldwide.
Fokus is involved in a number of projects that will be grabbing your attention over the next few months. Released on the mighty Renegade Hardware (Blindstruck/Scientist) is a double A-side collaboration with BTK & Optiv. Fokus also features on the forthcoming Horsemen LP, with a vocal driven track written with DBRUK. âHorsementalityâ showcases the precision rhyming style Fokus is known for.
SHARKS, swedens trashiest DJ-duo is coming onboard to completely DESTROY the dancefloor with their unhealthy circus banana tunes and filthy electro. We will probably regret having them here, ’cause people will most definitely bleed out of their eye sockets, and go ice berg on our boat, titanic style. Together with the dj-duo CrossHill they have created the freakshow club called Fucking & Punching. The four girls, literally, torn down Slakthuset in Stockholm and showed how a real kick-ass bloody party should be like. Â As they did together once again at the Skrillex Afterparty.
And they have also brought their crazy touch for the decks into producing music now as well! Together with Fugly they have teamed up and maked the awesome music team SHARKS & FUGLY. Wet Cupcake is the name of their first release and more is on its way.
So with these two girls you can expect nothing less then dirty Patrick Swayze hip-moves (you did’nt know you had) and some serious moshpit killer jumping.

Since the very beginning back in 2009, the dynamic duo Adam & Mandy have been doing their utmost to re-introduce glowstix to clubkids all over Sweden. On top of hosting regular rave parties at the upper echelon party palace known as Spy Bar, they spin records all around the country. From local favourites like F12 and Morfar Ginko in the capital, Kraftverket in the deep south, to the dingiest basement parties only heard of in hushed whispers around town.
Starting out with a solid base of Chicago style house music, they grab inspiration from anything they can get their hands on – from early warehouse parties of the past to pumping UK bassmusic and the hippest new grooves of today. Throw it in a blender and mix until smooth, and you’ve got your typical Adam & Mandy vibe going strong.
Playing tracks that will stir any crowd with their tongue-in-cheek sound, it’s no wonder they’ve come this far. Working day and night crafting music for the modern techno dance floors they’re now stepping their game up yet another notch.
Embark with us and get ready to kiss the captain’s daughter on the dancefloor!!
Kim Stockblom AKA KIMONO, born 1982, Stockholm, Sweden was introduced to Detroit Techno at the age of 13. You might say FFL, but no no. Childhood heroes like Jeff Mills and Derrick May influenced him to get his first pair of turntables and FX’s. By spending all his money on vinyl records he soon discovered many other artists and dj’s. Swedish legends Adam Beyer, Cari Lekebusch, Thomas Krome and Joel Mull impressed KIMONO the most when it came to sound and performance. Around 2007 he started to assemble his own production studio, and has since then been producing around the clock. Style wise he has always been in to a bit more “dirty”, experimental sounds and also keeping track of the coming and going trends within Techno. Much more to come from this uprising young father of two.
Kimono is the third 25 Hour People resident to be announced since he also made no less then 2 appearances at last years premiere.
Whether she is spinning records in the undergroundevents or above ground in clubs, Jessie Granqvist teases and pleases both crowds.
It all started last spring when Jessie began rolling her sounds in some of Stockholms best clubs, to mention a few; F12, Fabriken, Marie Laveau and Slakthuset.
Her techno-inspired sounds, driven set-flows, infections charisma and contagions energy behind the decks have distinguished, her as one of Stockholms most promising female DJs.
Jessie became a resident DJ of the undergroundclub Aftermath this past summer, and played there along acts like Dj Madskillz and Jon Dasilva.
She describes her style as a mix of newschool and oldschool-techno and is inspired by Cari Lekebusch, Ben Sims, Slam and Mark Broom to name a few.
Logistics is the stage name of Matt Gresham, a drum and bass music producer and DJ from Cambridge, England. He is signed to Hospital Records and has been releasing music since 2004, which he creates using the Reason 4 and Ableton sequencers. His music style tends towards the more soul-influenced styles of drum & bass but also targeted at a club audience rather than a home audience, and is described as such by Hospital Records as “bridging the gap between a lacklustre sub-genre, liquid funk, and more exciting, dancefloor orientated drum and bass”. His older brother, Dan Gresham, known as Nu:Tone, is also a drum and bass producer signed to Hospital Records, with whom Matt collaborated under the name Nu:Logic before starting his career as a solo artist.
Dave grew up in the 80s and 90s with hip-hop, grafitti and a b-boy lifestyle. Then David discovered the electronic music and breaks with artist and labels like: Harthouse, XL recordings, Felix, KLF, Kraftwerk, The Prodigy, U 96, Moby, Rebel MC and Adamski and loved it from day one. When Dave was about 10 years old he started DJing for his classmates with 2 turntables and no mixer. First it was breakbeats, then trance and after a while David found his true love for house and techno. At about the same age he went on his first rave party and truly discovered techno music and the lifestyle around it. With years behind the decks Dave has developed some serious skills and knows how to please a crowd. From playing the little bit harder techno he has the last years slowed things down a bit but still keeps the bassheavy, pumpy and twisted sound that impersonates him in his music.

Robert and Jacob found their love for each other drinking imported polish vodka outside a Deadmau5 concert in Stockholm 2010.
Their love for house quickly made it possible for them to produce music that soon would be a part of their new culture. An eclectic culture of electronic house music with influences from two worlds is now the sound they represent.
Tova has been playing clubs thru out Stockholm since the start in 2007. During the years she been mini-touring in Norway, Croatia and Sweden. Her sound is moving from minimal techno, techno to more dancy house. She was described as a “energetic EDM bomb” when she headlined the Nobel Night Cap in december. Recently moved to London and working on a EP with house tracks (producers as Neon Workout will be featured) with release date this autumn.
Hailing from the dark mountains in the north, Eric & Axel
has in the last few years been doing serious business with
the music scene in Stockholm. From having residency in the
infamous raveclub Aftermath to drinking expensive cocktails
while playing psychadelic housemusic in places like 2.35:1
and Ljunggren, their vision about dancemusic is still very
unclear.
Although they’ve both passed the age of sixty, they look
incredibly fit and fresh, as they bjuder upp the most
beautiful young ladies to dance, when the sun goes down in
Ăstersjön.
Erics debut EP “AKA Strindberg” on Elite Records is already
out of stock on Beatport, and supported by the likes of
Mark Knight and Slam.
Spring 2012 is exciting times, as Eric and Axels new label
“Juadre Padre” launches, with the first EP crossing
bluegrass with techno. It’s just as inspiring as it’s
confusing.
And one more thing… Rumours say they are bringing the
tuba onboard the boat …

Cross Hill
| For a couple of years Anna & Karin have been rumbling around most dj-booths all around Sweden, invited or not, creating a minor inferno. Their niche, combined with their love for music and energetic performances quickly caught the attention of some of the most influent club owners in Stockholm. From now on itÂŽs all about the house and filthy electro as they continue their take over mission. Touring with Carlsberg, playing several European countries and holding residencies at F12 and Hells Kitchen. Look out, Cross Hill is in it for the kill! |
